This book compiles lessons by the noble Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) on the rulings and description of prayer. It discusses the meaning, obligation, importance, virtues, and benefits of prayer, along with warnings against neglecting it and the ruling on one who abandons it. The book then explains the conditions of prayer and how it was performed by the Prophet ﷺ, outlining its pillars and obligations. It also presents two important principles: following the Sunnah is better than increasing in deeds, and acts of worship with multiple valid forms should be practiced in all their forms. The book concludes with discussions on humility in prayer, how to make up for deficiencies in it, and some rulings on the funeral prayer.

هذا الكتاب يجمع دروسًا لفضيلة الشيخ رحمه الله حول أحكام الصلاة وصفاتها، حيث تناول معناها وفرضيتها وأهميتها وفضلها، إضافة إلى فوائدها والتحذير من تضييعها وبيان حكم تاركها. ثم تطرق إلى شروط الصلاة وصفة أدائها كما وردت عن النبي ﷺ، مع شرح أركانها وواجباتها. كما عرض قاعدتين مهمتين: أن إصابة السنة أفضل من الإكثار من العمل، وأن العبادات التي وردت بعدة صفات تُفعل بجميعها. واختُتم الحديث بباب عن الخشوع في الصلاة، وما يجبر النقص فيها، وبيان بعض أحكام صلاة الجنازة.
