The esteemed Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him) delivered this explanation of The Necessity of the Straight Path in Opposing the People of Hellfire by Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (d. 728 AH), due to its importance in matters of creed—especially regarding opposition to those who deviate from true belief, imitation of non-Muslims, the obligation to differ from them, and the distinction between legitimate and innovated holidays. The commentary stands out for its clarity, scholarly rigor, and elegant style, and was presented in his lessons at the ʿUnayzah mosque between 1416–1419 AH.
شرح فضيلة الشيخ العلامة رحمه الله كتاب اقتضاء الصراط المستقيم مخالفة أصحاب الجحيم لشيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية (ت728هـ)، لما فيه من مسائل عقدية مهمة، خصوصًا ما يتعلق بمخالفة أهل الأهواء والتشبه بهم، والأمر بمخالفتهم، والأعياد الشرعية والمحدثة. وقد تميز الشرح بالوضوح والتحقيق وجودة العرض، وألقاه الشيخ ضمن دروسه العلمية بجامع عنيزة بين عامي 1416–1419هـ
