يشير عنوان الكتاب إلى هجرتين: الهجرة إلى الله بالتوحيد والإخلاص، والهجرة إلى رسول الله ﷺ بالاتباع الكامل، ويشرح فيه المؤلف كيف أن سعادة العبد الحقيقية مرتبطة بهاتين الهجرتين.

Ṭarīq al-Hijratayn wa-Bāb al-Saʿādatayn (“The Path of the Two Migrations and the Gateway to the Two Joys”) by Imām Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah (d. 751 AH) is a profound and spiritually rich masterpiece on the journey of the soul toward Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

The “two migrations” refer to migrating to Allah through sincerity and Tawḥīd, and to the Prophet ﷺ through adherence and emulation. Ibn al-Qayyim builds the book upon this foundation, elaborating on the ranks of the believers, the levels of sincerity, love, repentance, patience, reliance, and other internal states of the heart.
