“سنن النسائي”، المعروف أيضًا بـ”المجتبى”، هو أحد الكتب الستة المعتمدة في الحديث، ألفه الإمام الحافظ أحمد بن شعيب النسائي (ت303هـ)، وهو من أعظم المحدثين في نقد الروايات وعلل الأحاديث.

تميّز “المجتبى” باختياره للأحاديث الصحيحة أو القريبة من الصحة، وكان النسائي دقيقًا في انتقاء رواياته، حتى اعتبر كتابه من أكثر كتب السنن صحة بعد “صحيح البخاري” و”صحيح مسلم”.

يرتب النسائي كتابه على الأبواب الفقهية، ويجمع فيه أحاديث الأحكام، مع تعليقات دقيقة، وإشارات على بعض العلل والاختلاف بين الروايات، ويُظهر فيه معرفة واسعة بطرق الحديث ومصطلحاته.

يُعتمد الكتاب كثيرًا في المجالس العلمية السلفية، لما له من ثقة في النقل، ودقة في الإسناد، ووضوح في عرض مسائل الفقه النبوي المدعوم بالسنة.

ويُعد من الكتب المرجعية المهمة لطالب العلم في باب الحديث والفقه على منهج السلف الصالح.

Sunan al-Nasāʾī, also known as al-Mujtabā, is one of the six canonical collections of ḥadīth and was compiled by the eminent ḥadīth master Imām Aḥmad ibn Shuʿayb al-Nasāʾī (d. 303 AH).

Renowned for its precision, the collection is known for containing mostly authentic or nearly authentic narrations, earning it high regard among scholars—some even ranking it just after Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī and Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim in reliability.

The work is organized by fiqh chapters, covering rulings related to purification, prayer, fasting, zakāh, ḥajj, marriage, transactions, and other areas of Islamic law.

Imām al-Nasāʾī was exceptionally skilled in analyzing narrators and chains, and his comments within the book reflect a depth of critical hadith expertise.
