He compiled clear proofs from the Qur’an and Sunnah, supported by analogical reasoning, to affirm its obligation—particularly covering the face—and refuted the arguments of those who permit uncovering it
حرره الشيخ رحمه الله بخط يده، وقد ألفه فضيلته لما حصل على كلام حول الحجاب ورؤية من لا يفعلونه ولا يرون بأسا بالسفور، وصار عند بعض الناس شك فيه وحكم في تغطية الوجه، فجاء هذا الكتاب لإزالة الشك وجلاء حقيقة الأمر، فساق رحمه الله فيه الأدلة من الكتاب والسنة على وجوب الحجاب ومنه تغطية الوجه، وأضاف إليها دلالة القياس، وناقش أدلة المبيحين لكشف الوجه وأجاب عنها.
