This work contains comments on select passages from al-ʿAqīdah as-Saffārīniyyah, also known as al-Durra al-Muḍiyya fī ʿAqdi Ahl al-Firqa al-Marḍiyya, by Shaykh Muḥammad as-Saffārīnī (d. 1188 AH). It includes notes written by the Shaykh in 1376 AH highlighting issues that required clarification, along with a supplemental memo he dictated in 1378 AH further explaining points in the creed
في التعليق على مواضع من كتاب (العقيدة السفَّارينية)، المسمى (الدُّرة المضيَّة في عقد أهل الفرقة المَرْضيَّة) للشيخ محمد السفَّاريني رحمه الله تعالى (ت1188هـ)، وقد تضمن ما كتبه فضيلة الشيخ رحمه الله تعالى عام (1376ﻫ) من تنبيهات على مسائل واردة تحتاج إلى تعليق وتبيين وجه الصواب فيها، كما تضمن أيضًا ما أعده رحمه الله حول هذه العقيدة في مذكرة أملاها عام (1378ﻫ).
