سنن ابن ماجه – الإمام محمد بن يزيد ابن ماجه القزويني Sunan Ibn Mājah – Imām Muḥammad ibn Yazīd Ibn Mājah al-Qazwīnī

“سنن ابن ماجه” هو أحد الكتب الستة المشهورة في دواوين السنة، ألفه الإمام محمد بن يزيد ابن ماجه القزويني (ت273هـ)، وهو من المحدثين الثقات المعروفين بعنايتهم بجمع الحديث وتدوينه.

جمع فيه المؤلف ما يزيد على أربعة آلاف حديث، مرتبة على أبواب الفقه، بدءًا من الطهارة إلى الجنائز، والمعاملات، والجنايات، وغيرها. وقد اشتُهر الكتاب باحتوائه على عدد من الأحاديث الزائدة التي لا توجد في بقية الكتب الستة، ولذلك عُدّ مكملًا لها.

رغم أن فيه عددًا من الأحاديث الضعيفة، إلا أن غالب محتواه صحيح أو حسن، وقد اعتنى العلماء بشرحه وتنقيحه، وكان محل دراسة وتمييز في مجال الحديث وعلومه.

يعتمد عليه طلاب العلم في المقارنة بين الروايات، واستخلاص الفوائد، والنظر في زيادات المتون، وهو مرجع مهم في الفقه النبوي من حيث جمع المادة.

ولهذا يُدرّس الكتاب ضمن مناهج التعليم الحديثي السلفي، مع تعليقات العلماء على ما فيه من الأحاديث المقبولة والمردودة، ويُستفاد منه في إثراء الجانب الفقهي المبني على الأثر

Sunan Ibn Mājah is one of the six canonical books of ḥadīth and was compiled by Imām Muḥammad ibn Yazīd Ibn Mājah al-Qazwīnī (d. 273 AH), a respected and trustworthy ḥadīth scholar of his time.

The book includes over 4,000 narrations arranged by fiqh chapters, covering purification, prayer, transactions, punishments, and more. It is particularly notable for including many aḥādīth not found in the other five major collections, thus complementing the Kutub al-Sittah.

While it contains a number of weak narrations, the majority are sound or acceptable, and the book has been a subject of scholarly review, verification, and commentary over the centuries.

Sunan Ibn Mājah serves as a valuable resource for students of knowledge, especially for comparing different narrations and studying unique chains and wordings.

In Salafi circles, it is read with scholarly scrutiny—appreciated for its comprehensive material, but approached with attention to authenticity and verification based on the methodology of Ahl al-Ḥadīth.
